 I will be in China for meeting Chinese Government and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Beijing, Kunming and Shanghai. I'd need an interpreter who is fluent in English, can interpret and translate English-Chinese, act as a personal assistant and also show me around, depending on time. My work schedule is as follows: BEIJING: August 29: Arrive at Beijing International Airport at 1530 in the afternoon and head straight to the hotel August 30, August 31 and September 1: Meet government officials, NGOs and UN agencies and leave for Kunming on late afternoon September 1. KUNMING September 1: Arrival at Kunming Airport September 2-3: Meeting NGOs and other officials and leave for Shanghai late afternoon Sept 3. SHANGHAI September 3: Arrive at the airport and drive straight to hotel/apartment September 3-4: Meeting government officials and NGOs September 5: Going around the city September 6: Meeting NGOs and leave for Beijing in the evening. BEIJING September 6: Arrival at Beijing Airport and drive straight to hotel September 7: Meetings, Sightseeing, Silk Market September 8: Leave for Bangkok. I am looking for native Chinese interpreters who, beside being fluent in speak and written English, also have development sector experience of working as interpreter with the government, NGOs, international agencies. Interpreters who have studied Development, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Economy and other Social Sciences will be competitively selected. Best regards. Zahid
