Recently, I read a joke from a college English textbook for sophomores in China. It’s quite funny and I assure you that you will burst into laughter after reading it.
It goes like this:
An American man went on a holiday to Florida from his hometown, the cold and snowy Chicago. And his wife is to meet him the next day after finishing her work.
When the man arrived at the hotel, he decided to send his wife an email. Unfortunately, he forgot her email address. In the end, he typed out the email address from his mind, however, he missed a letter and the email was eventually sent to an old lady, whose husband was deceased the day before.
When the grieved lady checked her email, she glimpsed at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint. At the sound, her family dashed into and saw the following on the screen:
Dearest wife,
Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Your loving husband
P.S. Sure is hot down here.
